Odd Cables came to Quexion with a common problem. They had a well established brick and mortar business, but their web presence was lacking. Wanting to enter the world of ecommerce, they approached us to build out a stylish design and robust ecommerce platform.
So many products, so little time.
With thousands of products to manage, Odd Cables needed a simple way to make large volume updates to pricing, descriptions, images, and more. We developed a simple interface for the site administrator to make these changes using CSV or Excel file uploads. The end result saved them countless hours of data entry so they could spend more time focusing on their business.
More than one way to browse a cart
People interact with ecommerce websites in many different ways. Some are image oriented, while others are text oriented. Quexion developed two unique methods for the end user to find products on the Odd cables site using either the side (text-based) navigation, or the center (image-based) buttons. The end result was a flexible user-experience which has resulted in very successful ecommerce venture for Odd Cables.
